Chronic Disease Rheumatoid Arthritis - 1333 Words

This paper will be addressing a chronic disease known as rheumatoid arthritis that â€Å"is an autoimmune disease in which the body’s immune system – which normally protects its health by attacking foreign substances like bacteria and viruses – mistakenly attacks the joints. This creates inflammation that causes the tissue that lines the inside of joints (the synovium) to thicken, resulting in swelling and pain in and around the joints.† (Foundation 2016) The interviewee in this paper, Robert Doe, age 68, has been diagnosed with this chronic autoimmune disease. This interview consisted of six questions in the home of Mr. Doe around his disease and the medications/substances used and what their long term effects consist of, activities of daily†¦show more content†¦Doe’s chronic disease of rheumatoid arthritis. This enhanced the interview process as the questions were relatable to the interviewee, this ultimately allowing a higher chance to g ain the information required. The questions were also formed around the papers purpose of daily living, medicine and substance intake and how these link to determinants of health. Lastly the way in which the questions were communicated and adapted strengthened the interview process by ‘determining how the patient can best receive the message’ (Day, Levett-Jones Kenny 2012). The communication was also heightened through the loudness of speech as Mr. Doe has cognitive impairment with hearing. It is important that when interviewing cognitive impaired interviewees that the interview is taken in a quite environment such as a home or office, that you use a firm loud voice, only ask one question at a time, and that the interviewee is given plenty of time to answer each topic and question asked. (Day, Levett-Jones Kenny 2012). This is believed why the six questions asked were appropriate and gained the information required for the papers purpose. Ethics and Codes During the interview with Mr. Doe the ‘Code of Ethics for Nurses in Australia’ was adhered to by the interviewer. So John is on the run from these people trying to murder him because he is the next to die for the last three has died and he is the next. While on the run, John has to change identities and move far away from the place he was staying at before, so then he always has to meet new people, make new friends, and struggle with so much change. What was the theme of I am Number Four? I could honestly say that its role models are important. If you look at the aspects of this story you realize that John is with and taken care of by his guardian and protector throughout the story, without him he probably wouldn’t be able to survive at all. Henri is the one helping him understand his powers, and where he’s from and why are they doing what they’re doing. If you have someone to look up too, you should probably make sure they know a lot, because if you know someone that’s smart and knowledgeable to look up too, you may learn a little something about life. That’s what Henri is to John, he was especially a really good and knowledgeable role model, because of the fact is that if it wasn’t for Henri, John would’ve survived. How was the format of writing for I am Number Four? I could say that the author used creative writing. The book was amazingly creative and really interesting, the author must’ve had a real imaginative mind just thinking about the plot to this story. The structure of the story was great and was well done thought about, many things that was actually relevant to the plot. I enjoyed how he actually gave John a life, and he was engaged with relationships and friendships throughout the story. The concept was also very interesting on how he based it on a boy who was supposed to seem like a regular person but instead is a supernatural human being who is basically playing and disguised as a regular person. Reading this book was quite entertaining, because books like these show that you characters fiction or non-fiction have modern day problems. It also shows that everybody deals with struggles in life but you have to try and persevere to get past them. Role models in life are important; they can entirely change your life and make you see different and better views of the necessary things of life. Last, the creative writing used by the author made the story have a good plot, great structure, and a really interesting story.

When he became king, he found out that Banquo's sons will become king after Macbeth. Macbeth doesn't like Banquo so towards the end of the story he kills him. An example from the book about this is when both Lady Macbeth and Macbeth express their unhappiness. Macbeth speaks of his fear of Banquo especially. He refers to a dreadful deed that will happen that night but does not confide his plan for Banquo's murder to Lady Macbeth. Macbeth wants to kill Fleance and Banquo. So a third man joins the two whom Macbeth has already sent to kill them. The three manage to kill Banquo. Fleance escapes. At the end of the book, Macbeth dies. Macbeth has been slain. Macduff exits carring Macbeth's body.
